Nobelia at the IV Near Zero Energy Buildings International Congress

Nuestro proyecto Nobelia fue seleccionado por el comité científico del IV Congreso Edificios Energía Casi Nula para su presentación en en su evento principal, que se celebró los días 13 y 14 de diciembre de 2017 en el espacio La N@ve del Ayuntamiento de Madrid. El evento reunió a 400 profesionales especialistas en el campo EECN, en el ámbito internacional y en España.

Our project Nobelia was selected by the scientific committee of the IV Conference of Near Zero Energy Buildings for presentation at its main event, held on December 13-14 of 2017 in the La N@ve space of Madrid City Council. The event brought together 400 specialists in the field of NZEB, both in the international field and within Spain.

Centre Pompidou acquires four of our models

Hoy ha llegado una carta de París, para informarnos de que el Comité de Adquisiciones del Centro Pompidou, en su sesión del 11.03.2015 ha aceptado "por unanimidad y con entusiasmo" la propuesta, guiada por la curadora Valentina Moimas, de adquirir para su colección cuatro maquetas y un conjunto de dibujos de nuestra obra OostCampus. Las maquetas, dibujos y planos formarán parte de una exposición que se celebrará después del verano.

A letter arrived from Paris today, to let us know that the Acquisition Committee of the Centre Pompidou in its session of 2015/03/11 accepted "unanimously and appreciatively" the proposal, guided by curator Valentina Moimas, to acquire four models and a set of drawings of our work OostCampus for their  Collection. The works will be part of an exhibition to be held after the summer.

we won the competition for La Lainière!

Hemos ganado el concurso para hacer la Maison du Projet en La Lainière de Roubaix!
Se trata de una intervención Cradle to Cradle para iniciar la regeneración de un complejo industrial obsoleto cerca de Lille, Francia.
Presentamos arriba un "video-teaser" como avance del proyecto.

We have won the competition to build the Maison du Projet at La Lainière de Roubaix!
It is a Cradle to Cradle intervention to kickstart the regeneration of an obsolete industrial complex near Lille, in France.

Academie MWD official opening !!

La inauguración oficial de la Academie MWD será el próximo 8 de Septiembre de 2012 a las 18:00.
Además, se inaugura una exposición sobre nuestro trabajo en el vecino CC Westrand.
El domingo 9 de Septiembre, Westrand y la Academie MWD estarán abiertos al público en el contexto del Open Monumenten Dag (equivalente al Día de la Arquitectura)

The official opening of the Academie MWD will be on the 8th of September 2012 at 18:00.
In addition, an exhibition of our work will be open in neighbouring CC Westrand.
On Sunday, September 9, both Westrand and the Academie MWD will be open to the public in the context of Open Monumenten Dag (equivalent to the Day of Architecture)

De officiële opening van de Academie MWD is voorzien voor zaterdag 8 september 2012 om 18 uur.
Daarnaast zal er een tentoonstelling van ons werk in het naburige CC Westrand.
Op zondag 9 september zal Westrand en de Academie MWD geopend zijn in het kader van Open Monumenten Dag.

Skafandra ha publicado un vídeo realizado por Pilar Pinchart que incluye una entrevista con Carlos Arroyo a modo de visita guiada a la exposición Laboratorio Gran Vía. La muestra, realizada en la Fundación Telefónica de Madrid, se podrá ver hasta el 6 de octubre.

Skafandra has posted a video by Pilar Pinchart with an interview to Carlos Arroyo, as a tour of the exhibition Laboratorio Gran Via. The show, held at the Fundación Telefónica in Madrid, will be open until the 6th of October.

Presentación de nuestro proyecto en Oostkamp

El 27 de Enero nuestro equipo de proyecto para Oostcampus viajó a Oostkamp para hacer una serie de presentaciones del concepto con el que ganamos el concurso en Diciembre, y las reuniones de lanzamiento del proyecto definitivo. Carlos Arroyo, Vanessa Cerezo (project architect), Carmina Casajuana, David Berkvens, Benjamin Verhees, además de nuestros socios de Amberes ELD, nos reunimos con las instituciones implicadas (trabajadores y gobierno municipal, el Alcalde Luc Vanparys, los servicios sociales OCMW, la Agencia Flamenca del Paisaje VLM, y representantes del gobierno de la comunidad autónoma flamenca). La primera reunión comenzó a las 8:00 de la mañana, y la última terminó a las 21:00. La prensa recogió el evento, y la Televisión de Flandes WTV emitió una entrevista en sus noticias. Our team for the Oostcampus project travelled to Oostkamp for a series of presentations of the concept on the 27th of January, to launch the Definitive Design phase of the project. Carlos Arroyo, Vanessa Cerezo (project architect), Carmina Casajuana, David Berkvens, Benjamin Verhees, as well as our partners from Antwerp ELD, joined the institutions involved (the city workers and government, Major Luc Vanparys, the social services OCMW, the Flemish land management autority VLM, and representatives of the Vlaams Bouwmeester) in a series of meetings, visits and presentations. The first meeting started at 8:00 and the last presentation finished at 21:00.
The press reported on the event, and an interview was featured in WTV television. You may see an excerpt here.

Op 27 januari 2009 zijn we met ons team voor het OostCampus-project naar Oostkamp gegaan om een reeks presentaties te geven over het concept voor het lanceren van de definitieve ontwerpfase. Carlos Arroyo, Vanessa Cerezo (project architect), Carmina Casajuana, David Berkvens, Benjamin Verhees en onze Antwerpse partners ELD Partnership vervoegden de diensten (dienstverleners en overheid, burgemeester Luc Vanparys, de sociale diensten OCMW, de Vlaamse Landmaadschappij VLM en de vertegenwoordigers van de Vlaams Bouwmeester) in een reeks vergaderingen, bezoeken en presentaties. De eerste vergadering begon om 08.00u en de laatste presentatie werd afgerond om 21.00u. De pers heeft een verslag van het event opgemaakt en het interview werd uitgezonden op de Westvlaamse televisiezender WTV. Een samenvatting kan u hier zien.
