OostCampus Official Opening !!

La inauguración oficial de OostCampus está programada para el viernes, 15 de junio de 2012. El sábado, 16 de junio y Domingo, 17 de junio, hay días de visita para los vecinos del municipio. Si el tiempo lo permite, habrá una fiesta al aire libre en la noche del sábado (Volksfeest). La reubicación de los servicios administrativos se realizará del viernes 29 de junio al domingo 1 de julio. El lunes 2 de julio, OosCampus estará en pleno funcionamiento.

The official opening of OostCampus is scheduled for Friday, June 15th 2012. On Saturday, June 16 and Sunday, June 17, there are visiting days for the residents of the municipality; weather permitting, this will include an open air party on Saturday evening (Volksfeest). The relocation of the administrative services will be held from Friday 29 June to Sunday 1 July. On Monday 2 July, OosCampus will be in full function.

De officiële opening van OostCampus is voorzien voor vrijdag 15 juni 2012. Op zaterdag 16 juni en zondag 17 juni zijn er bezoekdagen voor de inwoners van de gemeente; ook een open lucht Volksfeest op zaterdagavond, als het weer het toelaat. De verhuis van de administratieve diensten vindt plaats van vrijdag 29 juni t.e.m. zondag 1 juli. Op maandag 2 juli gaat de dienstverlening in OosCampus effectief van start.

Academie MWD Dilbeek forest façade in production

El bosque de Wolfsputten está siendo encapsulado en piezas de vidrio, según nuestro diseño para la Academia MWD en Dilbeek. Estas son algunas de las piezas - que realmente parecen piezas de laboratorio! Haz click en la imagen para ampliarla.
Sven Drooghmans (en la foto) está siguiendo personalmente cada paso en la fabricación y montaje de la fachada óptico-dinámica. Su empresa familiar, Drooghmans Geveltechnieken, construye este enorme rompecabezas de 72 metros de longitud por 16 metros de altura, que es el último capítulo en el plan de obra del edificio.

Wolfsputten forest is now being encapsulated in pieces of glass, following our design for the Academie MWD in Dilbeek. Here are some of the pieces - they really are like laboratory glass plates for a microscope! Click on the picture for a closer view.
Sven Drooghmans (pictured) is personally following every step in the preparation and construction of the optical dynamic façade. His family firm, Drooghmans Geveltechnieken, is building this enormous jigsaw puzzle, 72 metres long by 16 metres high. This is the last chapter of the building plan, and then it will be completed.

• Notificar al profesional actuante que se otorga la factibilidad de construcción solicitada en un todo de acuerdo a los planos obrantes a fojas incisos 5 a 22.

Nuestro proyecto OostCampus, para el Ayuntamiento y Centro Cívico de Oostkamp (Bélgica), cuya construcción está a punto de concluir, ha recibido el premio Holcim Silver Award for Sustainable Construction in Europe 2011
Los premios de la Holcim Foundation, gestionados en Europa por la ETH de Zurich, se otorgan a proyectos en proceso de realización, en cada uno de los cinco continentes. La solvencia académica de sus target issues –establecidos por las mejores universidades, MIT, ETH, Tonjii, etc – la composición del jurado –desde especialistas de las universidades participantes hasta figuras como Lacaton y Vassal, Winnie Maas (MvRdV), BIG, o Jurgen Mayer– el estricto proceso de selección –pilotado desde Berlín por phase eins– la cuantia de los premios –un total de 2.000.000 US$- y la cantidad y variedad de proyectos en competición –más de 6000 en todo el mundo– , sitúan a estos premios como los más prestigiosos del planeta.

The results of the third edition of the Holcim Awards for Sustainable Construction in Europe were anounced in Milan on the 15th September 15 of 2011. This is an international competition to highlight sustainable, future-oriented concepts and innovative projects. We climbed to the podium with our design for the City Hall and Civic Centre OostCampus, to collect the silver medal.
Now you have a chance to visit the building site (the bubbles are now finished!) in an event organized by the Flemish Architects Association NAV, with Holcim Foundation, the City of Oostkamp, and the contractor CEI de Meier. Click here for more info (in Dutch).

Op 15 september 2011 werden in Milaan voor de derde keer de Holcim Awards for Europe uitgereikt. Dit is een internationale wedstrijd die duurzame ontwikkeling, toekomstgerichte concepten en innovatieve projecten in de verf zet. De Spaanse architect Carlos Arroyo is met het ontwerp voor het Bestuurs- en Dienstencentrum OostCampus in de prijzen gevallen. Hij won de zilveren medaille op die prestigieuze Holcim Awards for Sustainable Construction.

OostCampus Park: construction started

The construction works of our Park in Oostkamp have started!!
It is a productive park, built with recycled materials. Park activities, cycle and pedestrian lanes coexist in harmony with yards for storage and the management of construction material. It is adjacent to our other site in Ooskamp (Belgium), OostCampus. A European MP4 Interreg Project, developed with ELD Partnership (Antwerp) and VLM (the Flemish Government Landscape Agency).

Nuestra propuesta para el nuevo Centro de Congresos en Medellín (Colombia), desarrollada con El Equipo de Mazzanti, ha sido publicada en el libro de postales que recoge el trabajo de Mazzanti. Este es un primer paso en nuestra colaboración transatlántica, que estamos seguros será muy fructífero en adelante.

Our proposal for the new Congress Centre in Medellín (Colombia), which we developed with the Bogotá-based Team led by Giancarlo Mazzanti, has been postcard-published in a postcard-book collecting Mazzanti’s work. This is a first step in our transatlantic collaboration, which we are sure will be very fruitful in further ventures.

Ons voorstel voor het nieuwe Congrescentrum in Medellín (Colombia), dat we ontwikkelden met het Bogotá-gebaseerde Team onder leiding van Giancarlo Mazzanti, is postkaart-gepubliceerd in een postkaart-boek dat Mazzanti’s werk verzamelt. Dit is de eerste stap in onze trans-Atlantische samenwerking, waarvan we zeker zijn dat ze zeer vruchtbaar wordt in de verdere samenwerkingsverbanden.
